1. Data Controller

The data controller for this platform ("Jvne Transports") is:

JVNE Transports is a non-commercial, hobby project with no revenue or business activity, created to manage logistics transports within the video game Albion Online. JVNE is an open community — anyone can use this platform.

2. Data We Collect

When you log in via Discord OAuth2, we automatically receive and store:

• Discord ID — your unique Discord identifier
• Discord Username — your display name
• Discord Avatar — your profile picture URL hash

Additionally, you may voluntarily provide:

• In-Game Name — your Albion Online character name
• Personal Notes — any notes you write on your profile

3. Data Generated by Usage

Through your use of the platform, the following data is created and stored:

• Transport requests (origin, destination, weight, value, fees, timestamps)
• Chat messages within transport threads
• Gank/death reports (if you operate as a transporter)
• Notification records
• Session data (login timestamps, token hashes)

4. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data solely to provide the transport management service. The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you provide by accepting this Privacy Policy before logging in.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account from the Profile page. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it — one click. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on a private server located in the European Union. Authentication tokens are hashed (SHA-256) before storage. Connections to the platform are encrypted via HTTPS.

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your personal data to any third party, except as described in Section 6.

6. Third-Party Services and International Transfers

We use Discord OAuth2 for authentication. When you log in, your Discord credentials are processed by Discord Inc. (San Francisco, USA) according to their Privacy Policy.

Discord participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The transfer of authentication data to Discord's US servers is necessary to perform the login service you have requested (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). No other international data transfers occur.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as follows:

• Active accounts — data is retained for the duration of your account
• Inactive accounts — accounts with no login activity for 24 months may be automatically deleted
• Deleted accounts — all personal data and associated records are permanently and irreversibly removed from the database immediately upon deletion
• Session tokens — expired sessions are purged automatically

8. Your Rights (GDPR Articles 15–22)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — view all data we hold about you, available in your Profile page
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — edit your in-game name and personal notes at any time
• Right to erasure (Art. 17) — permanently delete your account and all data from the Profile page
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — you may request that we limit how we use your data by contacting us
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) — export all your data in machine-readable format (JSON) from the Profile page
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — withdraw at any time by deleting your account; this is as easy as giving consent

To exercise any of these rights, you can use the self-service options in your Profile page or contact us at transportsjvne@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by the GDPR.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Italy, the competent authority is:

This platform uses only technically necessary storage, which does not require consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Dir. 2002/58/CE):

• access_token (HTTP cookie) — authentication session, essential for the service to function
• jvne-consent-accepted (localStorage) — records that you have accepted the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, so you are not asked again on subsequent visits
• jvne-theme / jvne-mode (localStorage) — your chosen visual theme, strictly a user preference
• sidebar-collapsed (localStorage) — UI layout preference

No analytics, tracking, profiling, or advertising technologies are used. No data is shared with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

11. Minors

In accordance with Art. 2-quinquies of D.Lgs. 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code), users must be at least 14 years old to use this platform and provide their own consent. Users under 14 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14 without parental consent.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
